04/26/2021 COVID Exposure Quarantining Guidelines

Hi Everyone,
As more and more people are getting vaccinated we are seeing a drastic drop in exposures and positive tests.
For those who are vaccinated, but have been exposed to COVID (especially exposed to other people within their household) we are rethinking our quarantining guidelines. Is your City changing their quarantining guidelines for general employees who have been vaccinated? Are you allowing them to continue to work as long as they remain asymptomatic?
Has anything changed for FIRE and PD when they are vaccinated, but exposed?
CDPH and CDC says vaccinated individuals do not need to quarantine, but this is for individuals outside of a workplace setting.
Any thoughts would be great.

For Burbank, vaccinated employees do not have to quarantine following an exposure to a positive COVID person.

The City of Bakersfield has the same process as Monterey.

At this time, we are allowing all City staff who are fully vaccinated and asymptomatic to return back to work after exposure to a COVID+ individual. Symptomatic employees may return to work either with a provider's certification note stating their symptoms are not COVID related or they must stay home for 10 days following their symptom onset. Symptomatic PD and Fire staff with exposure to any individual with COVID-19 may return to work after the 7th day with a PCR test on the 5th day or sooner with a provider's certification note. This may change depending on Cal/OSHA emergency regulations.
